*****5 Star Review ***** I enjoyed Bloody Coffee immensely. This book keeps you guessing with every new chapter. It is full of real-life emotions and trials. This story really makes you think about the consequences of searching for your biological roots. Sometimes, searching for them brings more questions than answers. Bloody Coffee realistically illustrated the problems the main character Leigh encountered when trying to discover the identity of her biological father who was a resident of Israel. The laws there are much different than her home, in the U.S. She goes through so much work and personal turmoil only to discover that more challenges and mysteries await her. The characters and emotions displayed in this book were so real and human. The pain and strain that develops between Leigh and her mother are practically palpable.
