5 Star Review of Homecoming Chaos by D. W. Brooks

Thank you for allowing Bring on Lemons to be part of: D.W. Brooks’ WOW! WOMEN ON WRITING TOUR of Homecoming Chaos     I am so excited to be part of the blog tour for Homecoming Chaos ! This romantic suspense by D.W. Brooks is perfect for readers who enjoy some witty dialogue and family issues mixed with a little romance and mystery. The blog tour started November 20th and lasts through December 17th. I got a little behind with my review - not because the book wasn't phenomenal, but because my kiddos keep breaking things (wrists, ankles, etc...) and this throws off my schedule. I hope D.W. will forgive me!   5 Star Review by Crystal J. Casavant-Otto I absolutely loved Homecoming Chaos - it has a little bit of everything and flows really well! If you're looking for something light with a bit of romance and mystery - this is a fast read and is just the book for you! Jamie Scott is a delightful character you can't help but adore. With the holidays quickly ...

Always Changing - Always Improving

Hey ya'all! I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I remember in 4th grade someone made a comment about looking as big as my friend's pregnant mother. Let me tell you I never wore those stretchy stirrup pants again. My weight wasn't the problem. My mindset was the problem. I tried limiting what I was eating. I tried exercising. If it's out there, I've tried it. I even thought about bariatric surgery when I saw people having success with that. You know what though? Nothing worked for me long term because I wasn't changing the problem - I was only trying to change the outcome. Just like the rest of you - I really want to be the best version of myself. That's a moving target since life is always changing and evolving. I can't tell you what next year is going to look like, but I CAN tell you that in 2023 I committed to get healthy. I didn't commit to a diet. I committed to myself that I would get my spiritual walk in check, my head in check, my...

5 Stars for Heather Redmond's "Death and the Sisters"

5 Star Review by Crystal J. Casavant-Otto First and foremost I'd like to thank Partners in Crime for allowing me to be part of this book blog tour - it's such a blessing to receive a book by an author I hadn't previously known! I'm excited to tell you about this fantastic read (no spoilers) and once you've read my review, scroll down to find out more! Believable dialogue, fascinating history, and captivating mystery drew me into Death and the Sisters and kept me engaged throughout the story. This book by Heather Redmond is well written and beautifully edited as well as having a fantastic cover. Everything about this made me smile. If you love history and mystery this is the book for you (and it's a great time of year for some Frankenstein style mystery with Halloween right around the corner)! The details in Death and the Sisters are absolutely necessary and weave a beautiful tapestry of 19th Century England. I never found myself wondering why particular ...
