Review: While this may not have been my choice of genre in the past, “A Killer’s Grace” has provided me an eye-opening view into the lives and minds of the vibrant characters. Based on true events, the letter with which the story begins was written by a serial killer with a very serious request for help. Without giving too much away, the story follows a columnist’s personal psychological struggle with addiction and his past, as well as delving into the psyche of the death row inmate. The vistas described vividly throughout paint New Mexico beautifully. The characters are equally real and engaging, making the pages turn quickly. Pitcairn’s choice to pursue the story he knows is there, even against his editor’s better judgement, mirrors his determination to redeem his past choices and failures. His journey is filled with thrilling discoveries, disappointments, proven friendships, losses, support, and love. If you are looking for a mystery, thriller, and love story combined, you need to pick up this Robert Chapman novel. I’m glad I did.

Bio: Penny Harrison is a mother of a vivacious 15 year old daughter, a wife of 16 wonderful years,
and equal opportunity crafter with a very busy schedule. In addition to her “day job”, she is also an independent consultant for a craft company and has a small craft business. She lives in a small town in Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Michigan and enjoys her summers, “cooler near the lake”.
