Staycation - the Post You're All Waiting For! Manitowoc County Wisconsin in the Spotlight!

We recently had the opportunity to staycay in our very own town; this is an experience I highly recommend! We had a fabulous time exploring. Whether you live in or near Manitowoc County, Wisconsin or have never been here, this post has something for you! Here's our list of things you won't want to miss: Where to Stay/Eat/Play: The Lighthouse Inn 1515 Memorial Drive Two Rivers, WI 54241 Star Rating: 4.75 Additional Notes: The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan and this is a very affordable place to stay. This is an older hotel but very well maintained - the swimming pool and hot tub were a hit with the entire family! There was a wedding one of the nights we stayed at the facility was beautifully decorated - this is definitely somewhere I would recommend for a wedding or anniversary gathering! We ate at the bar/restaurant several times. Each meal was delicious and the service was outstanding! Laura, Bryce, Scott, and Jim are some of our favor...

The Sweetest Thing For a Big Lemon

I was nervous that my wedding day might be bitter-sweet. Afterall, I'm the big lemon and I've certainly taken the road less traveled...2 children, no father for me, should I even have worn white, etc...?? All these thoughts going through my mind - and I'm sure there are those who don't understand - heck, some days I don't understand... But - August 11th 2012 I found myself surrounded by those I love - ready to walk down the isle to become Mrs. Otto - it was my day to marry my best friend. I am incredibly blessed and my uncle is a photographer - so he took the following shots to capture my day forever - I'm not sure anyone can enjoy them as much as I will...but here you go - if you were there, they'll bring back some fond memories (I hope) - and if you weren't here - you can imagine what a fun and wonderful day it was for us! Thank you Lord for bringing Mark into my life and for the fabulous weather and friends on our special day! May you paths ...
