Hugs, ~Crystal Wave Rider: Poetic Journey from Abuse to Wholeness Review by Penny Harrison I enjoy the opportunities book reviews provide me to read styles of literature and topics that I may not have sought out on my own. This was true this time, as well. While I used to write poetry, I very seldom read more than a poem or two. From the very first paragraph, however, I knew this wasn't your typical book of sonnets. The book details the self described "Poetic Journey" that Rebecca takes throughout her life, lowest points to healing heights. Her words have the ability to draw a parallel to where she was in that moment and a place inside of your memory.
