I've tried and used many different ring slings through the years, and this Mamaway Ring Sling was interesting from the moment I opened the package. The sling conveniently folds into it's very own carrying pouch which appealed to me right away. It's nice to just grab and go and not worry about an extra storage bag (or knowing your toddler is using your ring sling to wipe his sticky fingers). It took a few tries to get comfortable as this was my first time working with this particular sling material and non-metal rings. Once I got the hang of it, I was quite pleased with how my nearly 1 year old daughter and I felt. The Mamaway is nice and lightweight and the fabric is sturdy yet breathable. This shaper eliminated my muffin top & smoothed out my post-baby belly! I slipped it on right away and as you can see from the picture, it goes down far enough to tuck right into your jeans/pants which will eliminate bunching, binding, and rolling. The straps are wide enough to provide support and are narrow enough to look reasonable under a tank top. Easy access for nursing too! Let's start by saying that most women don't enjoy wearing a bra to bed, but most of us have to when we are breastfeeding. It is important that the bra provide a little support without pinching, binding, or anything uncomfortable. It's nice when you find a bra that doesn't feel like a bra (trust me, that makes sense). The Mamaway sleep bra does exactly what I described above - it gives enough support to keep "the girls" comfortable while you sleep, but the material is light and airy and you can easily forget you are even wearing a bra. It does fit well enough to hold nursing pads in place by the way - in case that is a concern. As far as addressing whether or not it increases your milk supply - I feel like it must. I started wearing it nearly 2 weeks ago and my nursling is now only waking up once at night and she seems to be going longer between daytime feedings as well. It took me a while to write this particular review...because I am very particular about nursing bras. I am exclusively nursing our daughter who is over a year old. I am convinced that most nursing bras are only made to last a short time...I've had plenty of them that were great at first and within a few months they were literally falling apart. I wanted to make sure this was not the case with the Mamaway bra. I don't want to endorse or review something and tell you to buy it and have you disappointed. I washed this bra by hand, I washed it in the machine, I line dried it and I machine dried it. I wore it to bed, I wore it out and about.
