Let's start by saying that most women don't enjoy wearing a bra to bed, but most of us have to when we are breastfeeding. It is important that the bra provide a little support without pinching, binding, or anything uncomfortable. It's nice when you find a bra that doesn't feel like a bra (trust me, that makes sense). The Mamaway sleep bra does exactly what I described above - it gives enough support to keep "the girls" comfortable while you sleep, but the material is light and airy and you can easily forget you are even wearing a bra. It does fit well enough to hold nursing pads in place by the way - in case that is a concern. As far as addressing whether or not it increases your milk supply - I feel like it must. I started wearing it nearly 2 weeks ago and my nursling is now only waking up once at night and she seems to be going longer between daytime feedings as well. New Lactation Cookie Recipe

Hi! I've been getting plenty of messages on social media as well as emails concerning supply problems for my lactating friends. It seems toughest when moms go back to work and they have to pump. These cookies should be full of all the good stuff...hopefully they'll help: Ingredients: 1C European Butter (regular butter should be fine) 1C Raw Organic Sugar (regular sugar should be fine) 1C Dark Brown Sugar 4T Water 2T Flax Seed Meal 2 Free Range Organic Eggs (regular eggs should be fine) 1t Vanilla (who am I kidding....use a bunch!) 1C Whole Wheat Flour (regular flour should be fine) 1C Whole Oat Flour **this one I wouldn't substitute since oats are good for milk production 1t Baking Soda 1t Salt 3C Old Fashioned Oats **they have more of the good stuff than the quick oats 1C Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips 1C coconut flakes 1/2C walnut pieces Melt butter and add flax - let sit 5 minutes. Lactation Cookies - Yum Yum!

As promised - here is my recipe for lactation cookies. You may want to call them something else...we've sort of decided to call them freckle cookies around here since I'm eating them to increase my milk supply to nurse our littlest whose name is Breccan. Since we lovingly call him Breckle-Freckle we thought Freckle Cookies would be a great name for these high energy cookies! Enjoy! Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 2 c. oats 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 3/4 c. almond butter 1/2 c. softened butter 1 1/4 c. flax (ground) 4 T brewer's yeast 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 c. dark brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 large eggs 2 c/ chocolate chips (12oz) 1 c. cashew pieces 1/3 c. water - boiling....then add 6-10 capsules of each: fenugreek and blessed thistle **stir until the capsules are dissolved and you have a thick paste of the herbs then add the paste to your mix of ingredients above Mix everything thoroughly.
